Successful Entrepreneur was started with this idea of promoting business creativity - through sharing of our local entrepreneurs’ knowledge and experiences with readers. This would, hopefully, serve as a catalyst to encourage our younger generation to aspire to realise their vision in life - by stoking their entrepreneurial fires within.
This award as well as the publication of the book known as the “2010 SUCCESSFUL ENTREPENEUR” Official Portal would also serve as a platform for giving due recognition to organisations and individuals demonstrating outstanding entrepreneurial performance of their talents at various levels and standards of achievement.
An entrepreneur possess characteristics that includes spontaneous creativity, the ability and willingness to make decisions in the absence of solid data, and a generally risk-taking personality.
I am proud to share with all of you with regards to my achievement in 2010. It was the last thing to come to my mind when I was contacted by the contact person to tell me that I was chosen for this wonderful award.
Since I started off seeing Feng Shui officially in 2002, I did not expect that I can reach this height in my business. It was not an easy task to build this company with virtually nothing and to develop it until what it is today, it is also not easy to be handling everything on my own. Luckily, I have very strong support from my family and a small group of good buddies in giving me ideas on how to run my business smoothly. My sincere thanks to my family and all my buddies!!
When I started off in 2002, I knew nothing about running a business, but I was very lucky to have the full support and encouragement from my elder brother Jason Sim who was into ID and renovation business then. For without him, I would never have started the first step, which is always the most difficult. I would like to give him much credits and thanks for showing me the truth of being a businessman and with all these experiences gathered throughout the years, I have now become a successful entrepreneur.
Our business philosoph is to utilise part of our earnings from Feng Shui to donate to people who needs it. This link contains some of the past donations done on a half yearly basis.
